Formerly destined to be an orchard, Suan Nong Nooch (suan means garden) was adapted into a garden of tropical flowers and plants thanks to the owners’ inspiration drawn from a business trip abroad when they were impressed by the gardens.
Sightseeing around the Suan Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden must be time-consuming owing to its many classified zones that include Orchid & Bromeliad Display Garden, Flower Hill, Stonehenge Garden, Topiary Garden, Butterfly House, Meadow Garden, French Garden, Butterfly Hill, Antique Hall, Palm Collection Garden, Cactus & Succulent Garden, and so on.
Don’t miss the Waterfall garden as Suan Nong Nooch’s symbol and the Sky Walk which gives a bird’s-eye view of the garden.
The mini zoo is home to chimpanzees, orangutans, Bengal tigers and a bird farm as well as some species in danger of extinction.
