Pattaya Beach is the place for water sports ,
shops, accommodation, restaurants, entertainment and nightlife.
Well-known for its beach resort among tourists and expatriates, Pattaya is located on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand and is about 140 kilometers southeast of Bangkok.
Pattaya’s beaches offer convenience and recreational activities,
including water sports, restaurants, shops and accommodation.
Famous for its crescent beach, the Pattaya Bay area is divided into two main beachfronts: Pattaya Beach parallel to the city centre and Jomtien Beach in the southern part of the bay.
The latter is home to many high-rise condominiums, beachside hotels, beaches and resraurants.
Boasting a tranquil ambience, Jomtien Beach, stretching 6 kilometers long, also provides a wide range of water sports, while Pattaya Beach is the place for entertainment and nightlife.
"Pattaya Beach" is divided into three parts,
including:
- North Pattaya Beach with a tranquil ambience
- Central Pattaya Beach which is quite similar to the North beach
- South Pattaya Beach which is home to Pattaya Walking Street and Bali Hai Port for those who plan to visit "Koh Larn" by ferry or speedboat.
